One of the main reasons I started GoS was to build my own community. I cringe a little writing that as 'community' gets thrown around so much these days that I can see its meaning being lost in the world of brand marketing, but at the end of the day it really was the driving force behind starting my brand.

I have a corporate life: M-F / 9-5, working in design and events with surgeons, and I see it every day in their world - the fellowship, the commitment to friendship, mentoring, and support in getting everyone over the line. And truth is I don't have that in my work life, and after the Covid lockdowns, I don't really have that in my friendships either. So I decided that instead of feeling sorry for myself, I would do something about it and I haven't looked back. Truly one of the best parts about all of this are the connections and friendships.

So as 2025 comes to a close, I have been thinking a lot about GoS's direction, and the world I want to build around connection, meeting new people and forming new friendships. In a hectic, sometimes overwhelming and disconnected world, I would love to build a world around the magic and rituals of Sunday.
