Placing Your Order

Order Confirmation

Once you have completed your GIRLONSUNDAY.COM order you will receive a confirmation of purchase email automatically to the email entered during the check-out process.

If you do not receive the email confirmation, please check your junk folder as it can sometimes be sent there, otherwise please get in touch and we will look into it.

When Will My Order Be Shipped

All orders are usually dispatched within 1 business day of receiving your order.

Please be mindful that during peak periods, there may be delays. If we anticipate any delays, we will keep you updated.

If an item on preorder is included in your order, we will wait and send out when all items are ready to ship. 

Changes to Your Order

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to offer cancellations.

To ensure everything is correct, please double-check the selected styles, sizes, and your delivery address before proceeding to checkout.

If you realise there’s an issue with your order (such as an incorrect size or delivery address), please email howdy@girlonsunday.com ASAP. If your order has not yet been shipped, we may be able to assist with making the necessary changes.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery - Australia
  • Free shipping is offered Australia-wide for orders over $350 AUD. 
  • $15 AUD flat rate standard shipping applies for all orders under the free shipping minimum.
  • $20 AUD flat rate express shipping applies for all orders under the free shipping minimum.
  • All orders are shipped via Australia Post and require a signature on delivery.
  • If you are not home to sign for your order, we recommend providing a business address. 
  • Unfortunately we are unable to replace or refund lost or stolen parcels. In the unlikely event that you have not received your parcel within 10 business days of placing your order please get in touch via howdy@girlonsunday.com for help.
Delivery - International

International shipping costs are high unfortunately - there is nothing we can do about the shipping cost to countries outside of Australia. The rates are set by the delivery companies - we do not set these rates.

All international orders will be shipped via DHL International shipping service. If delivery is attempted when no one is home your parcel will be left in a secure location or a card will be left with collection information depending on your local shipping courier’s processes. We recommend providing a business address to ensure your order is signed for when delivery is attempted.

  • $25 AUD Flat Fee DHL Shipping for most destinations in New Zealand.
  • $35 AUD Flat Fee DHL Express Shipping for most shipping destinations in Oceania, Europe, Asia, USA and Canada. 
  • $50 AUD Flat Fee DHL Express Shipping for destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Russia, South America and some European countries.

Our flat rate fees are automatically calculated at checkout depending on destination, please proceed to checkout with your address for an accurate quote.

Some addresses outside of metro areas may be shipped via Australia Post International Express.

Please ensure you read through the International Taxes and Duties section, especially if you are a US customer.

International Taxes & Duties

Please keep in mind that your order and shipping cost does not include any taxes or duties charges which may be applied by customs authorities upon delivery into your country. The payment and knowledge of taxes and duties that may apply are the customer's responsibility. 

For more information on what duties and taxes may be payable by you prior to the delivery of your parcel, we recommend checking your local customs website or contacting them directly as these vary from country to country.

Refusal to pay customs taxes or duties may result in the parcel being returned to us, in which case we reserve the right to charge customers any associated shipping fees.

US Customers

Due to recent 2025 tariff changes, your order may be subject to fees when your parcel enters the USA. All of these fees are the responsibility of you, the purchaser. Any shipping charges paid at checkout, do not cover any of these fees and DHL will contact you directly for any charges owing.

While our pyjamas are made in Melbourne, and fabric is sourced locally, fabrics are made all over the world, including China, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan. This means that many of those products will likely be subject to tariffs of some level, which will then be charged to you in the US, upon delivery. Our shipping partner, DHL Express, have also advised that if a parcel contains goods with a mix of origin from tariffed and non-tariffed countries, these fees / tariffs may be applied to the total value of the shipment.

Delivery Timelines

All orders are usually dispatched within 2 business day of receiving your order.Please be mindful that during peak periods, there may be delays

Each order is sent with Australia post (unless international). You will receive an email once you have placed your order, as well as tracking information once the item is on its way.

Please note the following estimated delivery guide:

  • Melbourne metro standard - 1-3 business days
  • Victoria standard - 2-3 business days
  • Rest of Australia standard - 3-6 business days

As mentioned, the above is a guide and we unfortunately have no control over delays relating to sipping. Nor can we be held responsible once your package has been sent. Please also note that we are not accountable for orders that may get lost in the post once sent

My Order Hasn't Arrived

While GIRL ON SUNDAY aims to provide all customers with accurate delivery time frames, there may be circumstances beyond our control where delivery is delayed. Please keep track of delivery updates via the shipping confirmation tracking number supplied.

Please note that GIRL ON SUNDAY cannot be held liable for orders lost in transit. If you believe your order is lost, we recommend you contact our delivery partner Aus Post via the delivery issue form

Returns

Returns Policy

As garments are made in limited editions and we discourage fast purchases along with limiting packaging and fabric waste, please make sure you are familiar with the following before placing your order:

  1. Orders can only be returned for a store credit 7 days after you have received your order (as per Aus Post delivery date), or 30 days for international customers.
  2. Please email howdy@girlonsunday.com to request a return. Please include your order number and reasoning for the return in your email to avoid delays. Once your return is approved, you can then send your item/s back to us. Please note that you are responsible for shipping costs to return the item/s. Your return will be processed within 24-48 hours of receipt and you'll receive an email with details of your exchange or store credit.
  3. All items are quality controlled and checked for faults before they make their way to you. Returns that are damaged, show signs of wear or do not have their original tags attached may not be accepted. Items must be unworn, unused, unwashed with all original tags and labelling attached.
  4. Refunds are only offered on faulty items. Please email howdy@girlonsunday.com advising of issue/s along with photos to verify. We will then provide details on next steps.

We recommend that you refer to the detailed size guide before placing your order to assist in selecting your correct size. If you have any questions regarding fit and / or fabric, please get in touch as we are always happy to help.

Returns Postage

The Customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning items. We recommend using a tracked method of postage to ensure it reaches us safely as we are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen parcels.

Faulty Items

We work with a small local team of crafts people who tailor designs to the highest standard and quality. In the rare instance that you have received an item with a defect please email us immediately at howdy@girlonsunday.com. Please include a brief description and a photo or two showing the defect/fault.

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

Don't See Your Size

Girl on Sunday is a new fashion brand and currently 'testing the waters' so to speak. As we move forward, we will be doing our best to increase the size range and doing our best to include as many sizes as possible as we grow, so we would love to hear from you if you are after anything specific!

Unfortunately we are unable to offer custom sizes at this stage but please get in touch if this is something you are interested in. Overall feedback is important along with size inclusivity while staying afloat. If you would like clarification on why we stock the sizes we currently do for our first collection, or have suggestions or ways we can accommodate, please get in touch at howdy@girlonsunday.com.

How to Measure

BUST
Relax your stance and measure around the fullest part of your bust.

HIPS
Measure the widest part of your lower body (this should be your bum)

WAIST
Measure around the smallest area of your waist, make sure you aren't breathing in so this measurement isn’t too tight!

LENGTH
Measure from your shoulder point down to your ankle (where a maxi dress would sit) This means I can hem a mini/midi or maxi from this measurement!

UPPER ARM CIRCUMFERENCE
Wrap your measuring tape around the top of your arm (where the elastic for the sleeve would fit) so that we can make sure its not too loose or tight.

WRIST CIRCUMFERENCE
Wrap your measuring tape around your wrist (only need this for long sleeves!)
