If you do not receive the email confirmation, please check your junk folder as it can sometimes be sent there, otherwise please get in touch and we will look into it.

All orders are usually dispatched within 1 -2 business days of receiving your order.

Please be mindful that during peak periods, there may be delays. If we anticipate any delays, we will keep you updated.

If an item on preorder is included in your order, we will wait and send out when all items are ready to ship. 

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to offer cancellations.

To ensure everything is correct, please double-check the selected styles, sizes, and your delivery address before proceeding to checkout.

If you realise there’s an issue with your order (such as an incorrect size or delivery address), please email howdy@girlonsunday.com ASAP. If your order has not yet been shipped, we may be able to assist with making the necessary changes.

• $FREE standard shipping is offered Australia-wide for all orders.
• $18 AUD flat rate express shipping applies for all orders under the free shipping minimum.
• All orders are shipped via Australia Post and may require a signature on delivery.
• If you are not home to sign for your order, we recommend providing a business address. 
• Unfortunately we are unable to replace or refund lost or stolen parcels. In the unlikely event that you have not received your parcel within 10 business days of placing your order please get in touch via howdy@girlonsunday.com for help.

International shipping costs are high unfortunately - there is nothing we can do about the shipping cost to countries outside of Australia. The rates are set by the delivery companies - we do not set these rates.

All international orders will be shipped via DHL International shipping service or Australia Post. If delivery is attempted when no one is home your parcel will be left in a secure location or a card will be left with collection information depending on your local shipping courier’s processes. We recommend providing a business address to ensure your order is signed for when delivery is attempted.

• $25 AUD standard rate for most destinations in New Zealand.
• $35 AUD standard shipping rate for most destinations / rest of world: Oceania, Europe, Asia, and Canada. 
• $50 AUD standard shipping rate for destinations in the United States
• $50 AUD standard shipping for destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Russia, South America and some European countries.

Our flat rate fees are calculated at checkout depending on destination - please proceed to checkout with your address for an accurate quote.

Refusal to pay customs taxes or duties may result in the parcel being returned to us, in which case we reserve the right to charge customers any associated shipping fees.

US Customers

Due to recent 2025 tariff changes, your order may be subject to fees when your parcel enters the USA. All of these fees are the responsibility of you, the purchaser. Any shipping charges paid at checkout, do not cover any of these fees and DHL will contact you directly for any charges owing.

While our pyjamas are made in Melbourne, and fabric is sourced locally, fabrics are made all over the world, including China, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan. This means that many of those products will likely be subject to tariffs of some level, which will then be charged to you in the US, upon delivery. Our shipping partners have also advised that if a parcel contains goods with a mix of origin from tariffed and non-tariffed countries, these fees / tariffs may be applied to the total value of the shipment.

As garments are made in limited editions and we discourage fast purchases along with limiting packaging and fabric waste, please make sure you are familiar with the following before placing your order:

1. Orders can only be returned for a store credit or size exchange - please get in touch within 7 days of receiving your order to organise your exchange or store credit. Your returning item must be on it's way back to us within 14 days of receiving your order.
   
2. Please email howdy@girlonsunday.com to request a return. Please include your order number and reasoning for the return in your email to avoid delays. Once your return is approved, you can then send your item/s back to us. Please note that you are responsible for shipping costs to return the item/s. Your return will be processed within 24-48 hours of receipt and you'll receive an email with details of your exchange or store credit.
   
3. All items are quality controlled and checked for faults before they make their way to you. Returns that are damaged, show signs of wear or do not have their original tags attached may not be accepted. Items must be unworn, unused, unwashed with all original tags and labelling attached.
   
4. Refunds are only offered on faulty items. Please email howdy@girlonsunday.com advising of issue/s along with photos to verify. We will then provide details on next steps.

We recommend that you refer to the detailed size guide before placing your order to assist in selecting your correct size. If you have any questions regarding fit and / or fabric, please get in touch as we are always happy to help.

The Customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning items. We recommend using a tracked method of postage to ensure it reaches us safely as we are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen parcels.

For exchange, shipping with be free for the exchanged set.

We work with a small local team of crafts people who tailor designs to the highest standard and quality. In the rare instance that you have received an item with a defect please email us immediately at howdy@girlonsunday.com. Please include a brief description and a photo or two showing the defect/fault.

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

Each pyjama set listing includes a specific size guide related to that piece. As each set has been designed and drafted here in Melbourne, measurements are an accurate reflection based on guides supplied by our in-house pattern drafter.

Also note that the size range is limited for our first collection but will be increasing as we move forward. We know sizing is an unpredictable beast and a bit of a bug bear, so if there's anything you are particularly struggling with regarding sizing, please let us know as it might be something we can account for as we grow. All feedback is good feedback and we truly want you to be happy and love your PJs and be super comfortable in them as well. ♥️

Girl on Sunday is a new PJ brand made slow and small here in Melbourne. While the first collection is currently limited to x-small - large, we did originally set out to launch small through to x-large. Somewhere along the way - between pattern drafting, sampling and final production - the final size range produced was x-small through to large. Due to no real sizing standard in Australia or anywhere really, we are unsure if the sets have been tagged incorrectly (medium instead of large for example), however feedback indicates that the sets do run on the larger side. So please let us know if you're unsure about sizing and measurements as we are very happy to provide any additional details that might help you make a decision.

Size-inclusivity is a priority, so as we move forward, we will be doing our best to increase the size range and include as many sizes as we can while maintaining financial viability. If you are after a specific size or have any fit queries, or you routinely face fit issues elsewhere that you think would make a difference for our future collections, we would love to hear from you.

We are also aware of the importance of fit models and body representation. The first collection features me - Sally / GoS founder, and my friend Esther as we didn't have the budget for models. But we also understand that that shouldn't be an excuse either so want to reassure that as we slowly become more established, this will be also be a priority.

BUST
Relax your stance and measure around the fullest part of your bust.

HIPS
Measure the widest part of your lower body (this should be your bum)

WAIST
Measure around the smallest area of your waist, make sure you aren't breathing in so this measurement isn’t too tight!

LENGTH
Measure from your shoulder point down to your ankle (where a maxi dress would sit) This means I can hem a mini/midi or maxi from this measurement!

UPPER ARM CIRCUMFERENCE
Wrap your measuring tape around the top of your arm (where the elastic for the sleeve would fit) so that we can make sure its not too loose or tight.

WRIST CIRCUMFERENCE
Wrap your measuring tape around your wrist (only need this for long sleeves!)
